First AP incoming: 15500st Grey Dial
Got a call from the NYC Boutique on Monday morning saying they had a grey dial RO for me; this beauty showed up Tuesday morning.
As mentioned in acaixguard’s thread: I stopped in the boutique in early December 2019 and expressed interest in a 15500st; the grey dial being my first choice. Wasn’t sure what to expect but went in open minded, and was treated very graciously by the staff. They didn’t have any available to even look at, but I spent an hour with the SA looking at what they did have, and just talking watches in general. At the end of my visit, he told me, “If you’re patient, I’ll get you a watch.” Covid swept in caught most of us by surprise, but I checked back in with the SA via text in August 2020 and was told there was nothing available. Checked back in again via text last week and was told I’d have one in 3-weeks. Got the call this past Monday. I did have to wire funds as a first time AP purchaser - would have loved to get the points on my CC, but I’m not complaining, lol. Great experience as a first time AP customer and extremely happy with my first RO.
