Warranty Registration Question (first AP)

Hoping you guys can provide me some guidance, I've searched but can't find the answer.

So I bought a new AP RO 15400 back in August, the dealer location was London but not an authorised AP dealer.

I want to register the watch to get the 3rd year, but info to submit I'm a bit confused.

The warranty book is stamped and the dealer is Prince Jewellery and Watch Co, Hong Kong (authorised dealer) also dated 1st April 2016

So for purchase from field, I'm assuming would be the AD in Hong Kong?

And the date, would this be the 1st April too, or the actual date I bought it from the dealer in London?

Any pointers much appreciated.

If it's stamped, then just register it exactly per the books. I would just forget about the London dealer since they're not AD

That's correct - picked up my 15400 from a grey dealer, entered the original AD data from San Fran, and the 3rd year warranty is now active in my name!

In the interest of not stating another thread I thought I would ask this here

If you register your watch online do you still need to send in pages 7-8 from the warranty book?

I read where it said AP would send you a stamp, but I cant find where I entered an address on the AP registration website.

Hi when I registered mine online, I didn't have to upload anything, once case numbers entered my watch & info and image of said watch now appears in my account, when logged in under my watches.

But I see what you mean as under FAO section there's this:-
You may benefit from an extended warranty (total of three years) by : Completing the form at http://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/service-portal before the end of the 2nd year of purchase.

Which I click but nothing seems to open for me, but a NEWB using mac this could just be me! So now I'm unsure if online only registration is enough, have shot them an email to clarify.

So just had a response to this from Audemars, as the link didn't work for me, re the above. They replied just asking for a picture of the first page of the warranty book showing details which matched what I'd already submitted online.

I replied with a picture showing page 1 details, and now had a confirmation email about the 3rd year warranty is now approved.
and here's what they said:-

'We are pleased to inform you that your timepiece has been registered for the 3rd year warranty.

Please note that we no longer send out the warranty sticker.

Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.

Kind regards,

Hope this is helpful to others.
