Incoming - Black Sub TT

This TT Black Sub is a bit of a nostalgia piece for me. The first time I went into a Rolex AD I asked to try on a Sub, not really knowing what they were and I really wasn't seriously thinking of buying one back then. So the SA comes out and lays it on the table and I thought wow this thing really shines, these Rolexes really do scintillate and sing, and it was only when I put it on that I realised it was a TT model, so no wonder I was so impressed with it.

I didn't buy it but I always remembered the huge impression it made on me and I thought I'd love to own that one day. Well, since then I have indeed owned a number of Rolexes but never that one so I decided to right that finally. And celebrated it with a nice steak lunch, feels like an old friend.

Tough choice, I did go with blue first in full YG and its a wonderful piece, so I would probably still get that first. Then get the black.

Oooof.... Backwards backwards, respectfully. Next thing I know you are going to have a two-tone datejust with the dome bezel incoming. But if you truly like it, that's what matters

Big congrats, your special Sub looks amazing and a fantastic lunch to celebrate. I enjoy the TT Black Sub daily, for me it’s a different Sub than my mates, it puts a smile on my face everyday. Nothing but Rolex love, cheers to enjoying this journey

Beautiful piece. The only reason I don't own one is because I got the blue one 4 years ago. Congrats, man.
