Doue means seems to mean "combination" in my understanding. Montblanc seems to have adopted it as a noun for a line of their pens. Much like Meisterstuck.

Typically it seems a Doue is a sterling / vermeil MB pen.

Perhaps someone else will chime in.

The translation I come up with is for the French word: gifted or clever.

Used my daily Parker Jotter. For a lefty like myself, it’s the perfect pen. I keep several around at all times, though my most used is the one I picked up in Paris last time of was there. I’m new to this forum so I’ll post a pick next time I’m in the office.

I love the engravings on this pen. In addition to their beauty, they provide a little extra grip. Also, it’s tougher to see in this picture but the blue has a metallic shine that really plays with the light.

Also took the pic with my father’s 1680 that I recently acquired just for good measure.

Thanks. I've been writing with it daily for about 10 years now. I like its diameter (not too fat, not too thin), hefty weight, engraved barrel etc...

Thanks! It is a gorgeous little pen. Have way too many blue inks at my desk.

Have a couple others that as i use them ill post. Nothing super fancy. Next purchase will be something in the gold nib territory. Thinking something like a Pilot Vanishing point.

I understand too many of a certain color. I'm trying to diversify my ink colors. I like different shades of blue. Petrol blue and Unicef blue are two new blues for me.

Today is my first day with a Boheme with BB nib.
