Duh.

It's on the internet. It had to have happened.

I am not sure if it is real or a fantasy product - an attempt to stimulate our gray cells to unhealthy discussion …

Well there is that.

I’m with you on that.

I didn't say anything like that ... but the topic itself is based on an imaginary situation. And what is the purpose of this topic? Maybe OP will explain.

Hey you guys I was just curious if this has happened to anyone on the forum. It was just something I thought of when I was bored. I’m not too worried myself, I’ve got my Submariner insured. If you think about it, it’s a possible senario with all the different people responding to the scene of an accident... Now I’m not saying a cop or firefighter or emt would steal a watch but c’mon anything is possible.

It looks like the conversation between the subject's founder and his own alter ego. Further discussion is nothing more than a vain discussion of nothing. EOT.

Ah, ok rookie mistake on your part then.

Here we only debate watch winders, commiserate over scratches, discuss the investment potential of our watch purchase, and try to avoid any topics that might annoy Knappo1307.

Agreed. While the majority of first responders are awesome and surely honest folks, there is always a bad apple in the bunch when presented with temptation of possibly heisting a watch worth several thousands of dollars may do something stupid. There are many different examples of how these watches are stolen by thieves, and once it is gone, it is usually gone for good.

Yeah, it's great isn't it. Almost up there with "The Grumpy Badger".

When you go to a hospital they recommend that you dont wear jewelery...There's a reason for that.
