Staring out the window for a FedEx truck...

Friends, just posting to say I'm experiencing the unique agony we all love: staring out the window for the FedEx truck to arrive with a new watch

FedEx is scheduled to put an end to my agony by 10:30 EST tomorrow morning, so watch this space for an update.

It's a Radiomir, and it'll be my first taste of Panerai

Wire lugs. I bought the unworn Black Seal PAM 754 that OCWatchguy posted on his site this week. Seems like a good way to wade in at the shallow end of the pool

My small collection is heavy on low-key Omega models, so a Radiomir represents a walk on the wild side for me.

Sorry I'm late with an update! My Radiomir arrived safely today, and I'm giddy over it

I snapped a wrist-shot, and I'll look forward to taking some good photos of this beauty over the next couple of days and then coming back for another update.

This forum was helpful with my decision because I ran searches and read lots of good, first-hand info from members, and this helped resolve my mind in matters I wondered about. I bought this watch never having seen a Radiomir in person. Ever!

Thanks for sharing in my little celebration on this one

Very nice! That’s a great looking piece. Enjoy that PAM. They are unique indeed. I love mine.

Congrats That looks great on you.

I went by my local dealer about two weeks ago. After an hour of debating (almost went with the 424), I walked out with a new 753 around my wrist together with a original Pam strap, Cale Mosca (a tiny bit “beefier”). Don’t care one bit about the snap back on a model like this, and personally I feel that these watches offer really good value for what you pay (didn’t hurt to get the 20% as well )

Cheers,
Joe
