SkyD VS SD43

Good Evening TRF:

Does anyone own both a SkyD and SD43? Looking for opinions on if/how they fit differently on the wrist. Currently have a SkyD and interested in picking up a SD43 but not sure how the watch will feel given the caseback protrudes.

Thanks!

I do not have a SkyD but in my case the SD43 is absolutly perfect and comfortable.

I think it’s heavier but will wear similarly. They are both really well balanced watches and the 22mm wide bracelets make them really comfortable. I’ll post some pics of both on my 7” wrists as soon as I can.

Btw I’m assuming you own a SS Sky d. If not I can’t really help with a comparison.

Pictures would be great as we have similar sized wrists! Yes, I do own the SkyD.

Thank you!

I own both. Tough choice. I really do love them the most. More than my Batman and Hulk. Two different styles. Ones a dive watch, other to me is dressy. Don’t know if I could pick one over the other.

Your wrist is different that ours so the only way to know is to try one.
Owners of the watch will say absolute perfection. But that is subjective you know.
I can tell you this, when you see it in the metal and try it on, first thing will come to your mind is this is smaller than I thought it was or than how it looks in pictures.
Presence wise, I doubt there’s many watches out there than can beat it.

I own both and both watches are very comfortable when sized in the right way.
The Sky-Dweller lies a bit flatter on the wrist because the caseback protrudes a little less. On the other hand, the glidelock on the SD43 provides a perfect fit in all weather conditions.

Get them both if you can!

Have both and they wear great on my 6.75’” wrist. Sd43 at first fit awful but after following some fellow members advice to remove diver extension, it wears great now.

Im biased on the sd43 for obvious reasons but that blue dial is mesmerizing. Those pictures are perfect!
