1680 Family's Red Sub MK VI help with ID

Hello,

I'm trying to know better my red sub 1680. My father was the only owner - but it has some elements that create some clues on it's complete ID

As the serial states (3,81XXXxxx), the watch production should belong a late 1973 to 1974

The dial should belong to the MK VI series

The bracelet is a 93150 with 580 end link - near STEELINOX stamp there is a sort of fractional number 1 on top of a 76. Some says the bracelet is dated 1976. My father is pretty sure that never replaced the bracelet, so it's a weird combo with the earlier serial, I think.

On the case back are stamped the usual rolex stuff, the reference number 1680 and there is a watchmaker writing that I cannot understand. A number, clearly 35180. About the second line: it reads M F 3 or something else. Perhaps II 73 ? (second quarter of 1973?)

Tube is Triplock 702

Can someone add something more, maybe especially about the watchmaker's signs?

The bracelet is changed, clasp seems original 1976. Bracelet should be 9315 with 380 endlinks. When did your father purchase the watch?

It was a present but de does not remember exactly when. Perhaps he received the watch around 1978. The red could be one of the last MK. Lucky guy!

It is quite possible that the head was lying around in stock without a bracelet and it was married with the watch when sold or even changed out at point of sale for the better bracelet as the 9315 is quite flimsy compared to the 93150.
