So I picked up an ABP alligator strap in blue. I think these vintage DJs are strap killers as well. Anyone want to share their 1603s on leather?

Here’s mine:

Great watch - DJ's definitely have timeless cool about them! I have an early 80's DJ and love it. BTW, I have a mid 50's OP and I'm looking for a bracelet. Can I ask where you bought yours?

I picked up the bracelet on eBay. I was diligent on researching the jubilee I needed and the seller. I initially said it was a US manufactured Rolex bracelet but in fact it was Swiss made. As soon as it arrived I brought it in to my Rolex certified watchmaker who confirmed it was genuine. My watch guy was amazed at the great shape it was in.

Any pics?

Great job with the bracelet - thx for the info. Below is a pic of my DJ. I don't want to derail the thread with pics of my old OP, but I have a recent thread called Old OP with COSC papers that I put up a couple of days ago. I can't paste a link here because I haven't posted enough times on the forum.
