To each his own favorite diver. I think we are lucky as collectors to have such a wide variety of stunning timepieces from different brands to choose from nowadays.
Owning now modern diver pieces like the SD43 and the FF Barakuda my next 15k for a dive watch would go to a vintage one. I love the vintage Omega Seamaster 300. |

Actually it wears way better than the SD43 and more comfortable.
It’s now my daily one (even with Suites looks awesome) I just ordered the Stainless Steel bracelet so it will go better with a suite |

Thanks- I’m really tempted by this one. Also good to know you can get the other straps.

I can tell you this watch is incredible accurate - I know it was expected due to a the internal test they have done but surprise me how good it’s (+1 second per day) and it’s already 2 weeks. Amazing |

How about a PAM01033 limited edition (only 1500 made and they're just about sold out).

The Blancpain 50 Fathoms is the obvious choice for the upper end of your budget. It's got the history and the quality to back it up. I've considered one myself but they're a bit on the large side for my somewhat small wrists and the date ruins the watch for me. For something more wallet friendly, Omega is hard to beat for a diver. The quality is on par with Rolex (Omega does some things better and some things worse than Rolex) but at a much better price. Personally, I like Rolex, Omega, and Breitling for steel sport watches, as I'd rather put my money toward nicer dress watches.

I'm going to throw this out there...I think Rodrigo likes the SeaQ. He might even think you can't get anything better.

If anyone mentions anything other than SeaQ on this thread, Rodrigo will look for you, he will find you....and he will tell you in person that SeaQ is the best diver on this planet.

I know these are great watches. I tried one on in the store not long ago. Ultimately decided to hold out for something different. It wasn't always the case, but I'm kinda down on Rolex/Tudor as a brand lately. I know that's a weird thing to say on a Rolex forum.

I haven't visited the Rolex/Tudor forum in almost a year.

It’s the first time I’m impressed by a watch (no even the D-Blue make me feel that way) 👌🏻 |

You are totally right - and I think that I’m my position (owing several brands including Rolex) I have something to say and that’s the reason I’m saying that I’m totally impressed by this watch... at least for me, can’t be anything better (at least for me)
