Rubber B on SD43

I finally managed to get the Rubber B strap on my SD43. It took a little bit of doing, but the end result is fantastic, in my opinion. Very comfortable and feels like it was made for the Rolex.
My Old English Bulldog, Shamus, loves it!!
Your thoughts??

Best to alll,

Joe

I personally don’t put any kind of strap on any of my watches (personal preference) but that looks good!

Looks great. Just can’t bring myself to justify $100s of bucks for 2 strips of rubber.

Well that didn’t last long. Haha!! I had the Rubber B on for a couple hours and already missed the bracelet. I have a drawer full of various leather, rubber, NATO straps I’ve used to change up watches in the past, as I’m sure lots of other here do too!!

I use the rubber for beach and Disney. That's about it. The Rolex bracelet is so damn good.

I see you already put the bracelet back on. The strap looks good for a change of pace but bracelet wins overall for me too.

If I only had one "sub-style" watch, I'd wear it on the bracelet. If I got a second one, though, I'd absolutely put it on a strap. I think that SD43 looks great on a rubber strap.

Looks killer! Picked up a RubberB for my 114060, but don’t think I’ll make the switch til the summer comes around. Can’t wait to try it out

I like the rubber more than the steel.

I have a Rubber B on my GMT LN and like it a lot. I don’t see putting one on my SD43, but certainly understand why you like it, and it looks good.

Looks great! As long as Shamus approves, you’re good! I’m waiting for the day when Rolex offers the OF strap as an option for all sports models, but I’m not holding my breath.

Rolex is the one and only watch I would not personally put on a strap. Having said that, I think it looks very nice.

I have to say I’m in the same boat Joe

I have a drawer with Natos, leather and rubber straps. They only capture my interest for a short time and then it’s always back to the factory bracelets

I will leave the bracelet on my SD43 because it looks better to me and it's sturdier. A piece of non-OEM rubber on a 12k watch sends shivers down my spine. I've seen rubber straps disintegrating after some time on two occasions and almost lost two watches. It taught me a lesson.

I predicted this from your first post. Didn't have to scroll far to confirm it! haha.

RubberB's are cool, but nothing beats the Rolex steel bracelet.

Haha

Personally, I love the oyster bracelet.

I always like bracelet on Rolex, nato on Omega, and straps on my Pam.

Congrats on the SD43!

Rubber B id OEM to 100k + watches (Roger Dubuis) so 13k should be ok...

Looks fine but bracelet looks farrrr superior. I’m sure comfort is better though so I can’t completely hate it. Rubber b so epically over priced though.

I did same thing but rubber b for 2 weeks. Just felt cheap and went back to bracelet.
