Rolex aftermarket click springs
Hi all,
Is it acceptable for vintage pieces to have aftermarket click spring under the bezel? Does it affect its value much? thanks |

I think you might be taking this “all original” thing too far...

Aftermarket click-spring..
Isn't that a bent paper-clip?

Okay most vintages don’t have a click spring, they have a washer sitting underneath the bezel? Is that what you’re referring to?
Only the earlier modern subs have click springs, ala 16800, etc. mainly ones with a sapphire crystal. |

Using it for a 16808. Thanks for all the input.
