It is in the rehaut around the 6PM portion. Its hard so see but if you angle it correctly in the sunlight you can make out the serial.

See the "V25....." in the Dial?
It is just above the 6 o'clock mark.
That is where the serial number is located.
Did you see it?

I believe that on the DSSD it is located elsewhere from the typical 6 o'clock location you'd see on the submariner and other models?

No, it is in the same position as the rest of the modern Sports Perpetuals. The crystal is just so thick that it distorts your view.

X2 but don't remove it if you aren't experienced. You may run the chance of scratching the back of the lugs.

Thanks. That's really helpful. I went to look at one, and I couldn't find the serial number at the 6 o'clock position. I'll have to look more carefully this time.

a trick ive learned for looking at m DSSD serial, put it under water and at the correct angle, it magnifies it so it can be seen. because of the domes crystal on the watch, it does make it hard to see.

Is it safe to put those under water?

Only for the first 12800 feet. After that you are pushing it.

Wow, you guys weren't kidding when you said it's in that spot. It was really really tough to see and make out the figures of the serial number in that spot.

It's easy to see with reading glasses...... and a loupe....... and an LED light..... held at the right angle.

Well, I guess it's not that easy to see, but it's there.

My G serial SubC has the serial number on the rehaut at the 6 o'clock position. But today when I removed the bracelet, I noticed that between the lugs at the 6 o'clock position it only has Stainless Steel and no Serial number below that. Is this normal ?
