+1. But to OP, get it if you like it, but it's not exactly a 'special offer'. Special would be PS if you get this, also white Daytona ready on same day.

Really? I don’t think it’s like that in Canada. I see a whole bunch of them sitting in cases.

In the UK DD's are trending over retail now, some dial combos are much higher even!

That’s wild! I think the rolex hype has gotten way out of control.

There is only one authorized AP dealer in all of Canada believe it or not. So the thought of me asking that AD is laughable especially for something I would want

I merely said I was offered it AT A DISCOUNT and am able to pay CASH.

I see you’re in NYC a city with a population of 9 million state with 20 million - we here in humble Toronto have a population of just under 3 million people - so it’s a really small world here is what I’m trying to say I think NY has over 20 ADs if I’m not mistaken so it’s a lot easier
Well you do start off your post by saying your AD treats you exceptionally well.....

And no its not "easier" in NYC

Sure, by pure count we have more ADs in the area due more people.... but its also NYC. NYC has some of the wealthiest people in the world either living/passing through the city, high powered investment bankers & lawyers, $$ visiting the city, celebrities, musicians, diplomats/princes/sheiks, wealthy tourists, people from all over world with big money etc...

Comparing Toronto to NYC based just on population count and number of ADs is not like for like

You posted and asked TRF for opinion. Be prepared on the responses.

But hey like i said its your money do as you wish.

Just suggesting you take a look around. So many guys/girls with blinders on. Just trying to show you some alternatives that you may be pleasantly surprised by.

Completely agree great point - similar to Toronto and especially when Americans travel here with their powerful dollar they’re getting the watch almost 40 percent cheaper.

I wish it was the same here. I called the AD yesterday and they said to me “it’s very hard to get AP you’re better off waiting for your Rolex to come in”

RDV is a different animal for sure - but try to buy that piece at a discount and or cash and they will laugh you right out of the store - that place is for Drake and his entourage

My AD offered me a yacht master, oyster bracelet (not the first time!), I wonder why, there are some Rolex watches that they have to try hard to sell still!

If you don't want it, i would politely decline. If there are other references you're interested in - let them know so they keep you in mind.

Pretty simple

What do you mean pay by cash? And some won’t let you pay by cash? I don’t quite follow.

Ah, I see now from a different post. NVM

That’s quite a bold statement to say. Unless you’ve seen all the sales invoices for every transaction and had it backed up by the shop owners, it can’t be fact. You are more likely correct, but don’t under or over estimate what goes on in business.

I mean as a regular consumer coming in with some prior history most likely you won’t be offered a discount even on a PM piece now a days - Ofcourse it’s not fact in reality but fact for me is what I meant.
