116710/126710 crystal question

I知 gonna be getting a BLNR 116710 serviced before long and the crystal has a couple flea bites so I値l have that changed. Does anyone know if the new AR crystal on the 12 series GMTS will fit into the 11 case? The measurements are almost identical. I know I値l have to have an independent do the work as Rolex wouldn稚 entertain the idea.

Yes, 126710 crystal is now the replacement crystal for the 116710.

Rolex doesn't stock a bunch of old crystals just for each reference, they update to whatever the latest is used in production of the same model.

They will use old stores until they are gone but that usually doesn't take long. The exception is when the crystal size has actually changed.

Many models use that crystal, the majority of what I service aside from the smaller models.

From a 5 digit datejust to a new GMT master
