First vintage venture, needing some help !

Hi all! Finally saved enough to get a vintage piece. Was wondering if anyone could give some advice re this piece here. Seller is a long timer on eBay and has perfect reputation.

Just curious why the lume plots are so clean. Could it be a service dial?

That's not the original dial.

A 1971 1680 should have red Submariner text, therefore dial is replaced.

What about this idea of "clean lume plots" being suspect? Am I right to think that sounds as though the OP has seen a lot of undisclosed re-lumes and takes their appearance to reflect factory work?

That photo is so over-processed, I have no idea what it would look like in person.
