I can only tell you what i have experienced in the USA. I live in an urban environment and mostly rely/relied on public transports (subway/bus/bike) and given the charged political environment since this summer and the public health crisis, i am reluctant to wear a full gold watch out. The world is not "normal" just yet.

i get it the girls wear their diamond rings all day, but something like a full yellow gold watch is more in your face and makes you a target. Sure if you live in a gated community with private parking every where you roll then its fine...but where i live that's only for mega billionaires. This is a hobby...sometimes being low key has its values.

Yes that is correct - I think if you use a VPN for Hong Kong you can still see it on the Tudor website as part of the classic line. In the UK this has been replaced by the (inferior in my view) Glamour line and now the Tudor Royal.

This is the reason I had to import from Hong Kong. I'm not sure if the watch is still being produced or is there was a lot of surplus stock from manufacture some years ago. Mine was definitely new and flawless.

My experience was good. They notified me the piece had come back in stock by Whatsapp and email. They sent me QC photographs and timegrapher video. Delivery was very quick although I did get hit with the expected import taxes/duty (UPS into the UK). It was well packaged and the watch was pristine - absolutely brand new. They did go overboard with the stickers though which were not easy to remove! It came in the new Tudor box, with the new 2020 warranty card and manuals, hang tag etc.

One thing to be aware of is that resizing the bracelet wasn't easy. I got two links out without a major problem (1.2 mm screwdriver) but the third link was very tight so I took it to an AD who did it for me (the trick is to turn the opposite way as if tightening and then loosen again and warm it up to heat the glue).

I've finally bit the bullet with the black face / Arabic Numerals, I was definitely swayed by Goose 104's awesome pictures.
