I like the white, but I have 3 black-dialed watches, so I am partial to it.

It simply never gets boring.

Stick dial for the DJ (and DD). All the dial colors look awesome but I personally give an edge to blue.

I like the rhodium stick dial much better. Also one of the most versatile configurations. Blue always looks great but it depends what you'll be wearing with this watch. It's just louder than white, silver or black. The Wimbledon dial is very cool but it really shines with the YG bezel. It's like the Rolex logo. If the crown were silver it just wouldn't look as good.

For a man, what do you think would look best? I always kind of found Romans to be slightly feminine, but for some reason I'm really drawn to the green romans, especially against the gray dial and steel case/bracelet.

Sorry for my delay. I voted on behalf of what I’d like on a mans wrist. :-). I don’t think Romans on rhodium is a feminine combination. I love the stick version too. But the rhodium/green has an edge with the other options. Ironically, since I have the white dial with Romans, my next watch will most likely be a DJ 36 with blue dial/ white sticks. Lol. If I progress with my collection to include a rhodium dial, I hope Rolex comes up with a new style. I don’t know what I’d buy. Lol. When you try these watches on, take pics, lots then study them. It’s overkill but that’s what helps me.

Hmm...let me see.

Kidding...they're all great. The rhodium, though, has to be seen in person to be appreciated.

I voted for blue, but it’s a very tough call for me between the blue and the rhodium. Both look great

This might be a reality for me. I'd like to bring it back for those who didn't vote and to get some fresh takes.

I'm down to slate with romans and blue. Neck and neck!

The new slate roman dial threw me a curve as well. I was all set and ordered the silver dial last week but woke up the next morning thinking I don't want to play it safe and stopped in my AD and switched my order. My AD said this one may take longer than the usual 2-3 weeks. I think this is going to be a hot looking DJ and can't wait to see it in the real. BTW my wife was actually excited when I showed her and 100% for the switch.

Another Vote for the Blue dial. I went to my AD and purchased The DJ 41 with Jubilee and fluted, I spent a long time deciding too. The Rhodium was my second choice but that Blue dial just kept calling out to me. Sadly i'm still waiting for mine, which my AD said should be in about 2 more weeks. They have it in stock with the oyster band, but I already have an Explorer2 and a Sub. They both have Oyster bands plus IMO a datejust deserves to only be worn with a jubilee band.

I think the slate dial color is a half of shade lighter than rhodium ?
