Okay guys, was wondering how many of those with a GMT actually use the GMT function?

I know... I know... same could be said about the SD, Yacht Master, etc. but just curious since the Pepsi, Coke, Batman are so popular.

I wore a GMT Pepsi for 15 years day in and day out and now have a new BLNR.

I use the GMT function. A lot. It's by far my favorite complication.

I would add that I also love the fact the hour hand can be skipped forward and backward. That to me is as useful as the 3rd hand. Though I love and use the entire complication often. In my view, Rolex does this complication the best - a very elegant solution to dual time zones.

I travel regularly for work outside of mainland Europe - UK, Baltics, US, Asia and use the GMT function whenever I travel.

I sold my dive watches to get a GMT II LN purely because I wanted the movement and bezel (which is rarely at top dead center). The aesthetics are a pure bonus. It grew on me quickly and I'm hoping to add a CHNR and BLRO soon.

The GMT movement is proving much more useful than any Rolex diver... and I actually dive.

I travel quite frequently overseas and the GMT complication is exceedingly useful. It’s by far my favorite feature of a watch, and I almost feel naked when I wear my other non GMT watches.

Ironically I traveled overseas for years before I was into watches. Now that I have a GMT (and Explorer II) I travel one or two time zones a few times a year. I love the history of the GMT and think it's a cool complication, but I bought on aesthetics mainly. It's just a cool looking watch.

Kind of a shame how many times I've been to Switzerland before I was into watches!!! I used to go to Schaffhausen a couple of times per year.

I bought primarily for the aesthetics, but I use the 2nd timezone to keep track of international clients and their time, when its appropriate to call/text etc. i dont travel much but its useful for me in that regard

For all my sins I’m a long haul pilot.

Use my LN and 16710’s for their intended design purpose A LOT!

Probably the best watch ever made IMO.

If you’re a frequent time traveller like me, then the GMT is the watch for you.

I use my GMT function on my LNc just occasionally as I'm not a frequent flyer. Love the look of the 24h green hand though! Looking forward to a SS BLRO as my second GMT some day. Cheers!

I have the Ln and travel regularly so the gmt function gets used a lot.

Even when in the office the bezel gets used a lot to check times before making call across the globe.

I also love the ability to quickly adjust the hour hand when changing time zones.

....by far the most useful complication, it’s incredible to think the gmt ln is cheaper (only slightly) than a sub date.

Love this watch and the black ceramic bezel means it will go with anything.

I travel enough to have a use for a second or third time zone. I just got the GMT a couple of weeks ago, but I have traveled with an Explorer II enough to know the multiple time zone feature is useful. Before I had the Explorer II I just left my watch at home time and added or subtracted hours to get to my local time zone. Right now I have the bezel set to UTC, the GMT hand to home time and the hour hand set to local time where I am. And I test myself to see how fast I can figure out what time it is in all three time zones.

I’ve never used the complication. Most of my travel is West coast to East coast. It’s easier to add/subtract 3 hours than look for the gmt hand.

Love the GMT complication. I travel quite a bit both near and far and use the feature often. Its fun way to keep track of home time, away time, where my friends and family are in the world etc. Whether a GMTII or EXPII, I have alway kept one in my small collection.
