Archimede Outdoor Protect 39 - Great Everyday Watch Under $1000

I've had my eye on this watch for a few months now and was able to snag one pre-owned recently. This watch has exceeded my expectations and I think is an excellent contender in the "Tool Watches Under $1000" category, and I think can hold it's ground against the more popular Sinn 556 and Damasko DS30 watches.

Thanks for reading / watching. I'm happy to continue any of the discussed pros / cons here!

Nice! I like the look of that watch. I have an Archimede pilot watch and I love it. They make a solid, good quality watch at a reasonable price. Ickler is part of Archimede and they make the great watch cases for the line. The quality of the case is what you would find on much more expensive watches.

Enjoy!

Thanks for looking! Yeah, I wrote a bit about Ickler and their (almost) 100 years of case manufacturing. Great cases and I don't think this will be my last Ickler watch!
