1976-2018 How It All Began:
Hi everyone, So like many watch enthusiasts out there I was curious how it all began with the Nautilus and the importance of the legend Gerald Genta so I did my research consolidated all the info I got from articles / books etc and made a 13 mins video on it: Pls do share more info / add anything I missed out on etc Enjoy: https://youtu.be/Tcg3RpfUt34 |

Tremendous video with great photos! I really like the article that talks about swords and diving to boardroom which is the essence of the nautilus.
Watched it wearing my recently acquired 3700 and I could feel the history :) - made me a very happy camper. Interesting if Piaget had gone for it - I'm not sure if it would have had the same impact to be honest. If you replaced the Patek name with Piaget - mmmm doesn't feel the same. |

Having a great and well finished elegant steel sports watch is one thing. Knowing you have the finishing of a Patek movement and the history is the half the battle to be honest. The brand is a big part. Same reason why a Submariner is still the classic. Piaget is more women's watches. I've also tried the Polo - its nice. |

Fantastic video as always! Can we expect one on the history of the Aquanaut? :-)
