Dress watch suggestions please

RE this thread: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=609331

I am now down 4 pieces, including the two dress pieces I had, my ALS 1815 and my JLC Reverso are gone.

I know I can wear anything as a dress watch, including my white dialed 5711 but I would like to add back something on a strap to my collection.

I have looked at:

Glashutte Panoreserve

JLC Geophysic True Second

Omega Globemaster Annual Calendar

and not a dress watch (I know but I like it ) a

Rolex Milgauss GV

Would love some thoughts on these pieces

Thanks

If dress watch, it would have to be GO with a moonphase to spice it up and make it interesting.

Still prefer datejust 41 over the globemaster and Milgauss is dress sport, so depends how dress you want it and bespoke strap will go really well with GO.

Tough choice. GO might not be an everyday watch though.

The GO is nice, I had the silver dial black strap. Can you do ALS version, L1.
Don’t like middle 2, the smaller Ltd geophysic is better proportioned IMO.
I have that Millie and it’s a real fun watch, not dress at all with colors / I view it like a hulk.
One warning on Millie / it’s a little floppy and I’m struggling with sizIng. I don’t like needing th easylink out always and that’s the position I’m in with it.

Thanks, did not really like the moon phase, the reserve suits me and agree it might not get much wear

No cannot do the ALS L1, just sold my 1815, trying to pare down and not interested in pm pieces, even though that is dress

Interesting take on the GV, I have had it on and it is heavy but comfortable, thanks

Of those choices, the Glashutte is amazing, followed by the Omega Globemaster Calendar, a watch I think that doesn't get enough love

I tried on that Blue GO and it just felt flat on me, I'd think about a Moser, very elegant calligraphy on a simple design, or a Breguet Classique with signature guilloche.

Thanks, wish I had the chance to see a Moser

What made you get rid of the ALS 1815?

I tried on an 1815 up/down a couple of days ago, its an absolutely stunning watch and seriously considering it. Would flip my IWC and have a two watch collection with my GMT, so a dressy watch that's slightly sporty and sports watch

Between those four watches, I vote for the True Seconds Geophysique watch. It just looks elegant and has that trick jump second mechanism. But I'll probably be the only one to vote for it.

GO. Millie is not a really a dress watch. I don't like wearing anytime I wear a blazer.

I prefer the JLC. Elegant, simple, yet refined.

I would go with the GO. However, if you haven’t seen them, then I would recommend a Chopard from the LUC collection, love the XPS 1860 and the twist. Unique and different, am sure you’ll get a great discount too.

IWC Portugieser Chrono

Had one a few years ago and sold it because I'm not a big fan of leather straps and the lack of IWC bracelet options that could fit this specific model !

Nevertheless, it is IMO, one of the most beautiful watches ever made !

Thanks all for the help, not a fan of the Portugese Chrono.

The Glashutte is safe at home
