Speed Saphir 3861 VS Apollo 8

Both great watches but I would get the 3861. The movement and bracelet are worth the price of admission.

Both nice - the Apollo 8 is bigger. I’d advise trying on first but that would be my choice

For a change go for the Apollo 8 Dark side of the Moon.

I have both and they are all very different watches. The decision probably depends on how it fits with the rest of your collection.

The 3861 is a great GADA that is in my regular rotation. It's a good daily driver that you don't have to think about or baby - very comfortable and easy to wear.

The A8 is more niche and worn less frequently. For me the larger size (44), color (black and yellow), legibility and ceramic case (light but more brittle) make it less versatile than the 3861 and more of a fun weekender.

Given you already have so many amazing show stoppers, I would go with the 3861 for going to the movies or buying groceries.

I was choosing between A8 and 3861 sapphire crystal as well. After comparing both watch side by side, I picked up the A8. but 3861 sapphire crystal will be my next watch.
