300k and not even a concept? That is crazy. Seems to me it should be worth something between 150-200k.

Pricing is pretty consistent and par for the course considering complications and openworking.

Their RO tourbillons are CHF150k so it makes zero sense to price it at your suggested range when this also has a chronograph and is openworked.

Concept, CODE, RO and ROO are very consistent at the higher complication tier so it doesn’t really matter what line it is

So if a RO Tourbillon is around 160k USD, why should a chronograph and open working it double the price?

Previous ROO chronograph tourbs sold for less. I think even the lap timer was asking less than this and it is just as complicated if you ask me.

This is just AP taking advantage of the hype and the market.

The first ROO open work chrono tourbillon was released ten years ago, albeit in RG, and had a list price of $325k, so it doesn’t look like AP banking the hype to me.

Also, chrono is a major complication, whereas a tourbillon is relatively simple in comparison.

It’s a flying tourbillon as well and frankly to my eyes a FT is so much more appealing to stare and lose oneself in and that’s worth some $$$ when we all live stressed lives

That moment where I can forget the world and get lost in the machine on my wrist is priceless to me

Also I’m quite fortunate to own a number of similarly priced watches

There is something special abt this piece. So many little details

It’s kinda like a 911R. It looks like a touring but it’s got special sauce that’s so much more

Me either! I go back to it every other day at minimum...the other pieces are struggling - although I'm wearing another AP today at least lol

This thing is one watch that literally makes me smile ear to ear every time I put it on. I had it on at a meeting yesterday and one of the guys after said I put him in a trance as he stared at it across the table!

I may have found a new use for it...spellbinding people at meetings!
