Inventory
When do dealers typically find out their allocations from Patek for the year?
Thanks Jim |

If i have to believe my AD, and i do.
Patek tells them once a year what will be allocated but they do not tell them when they receive the pieces. I have been waiting on a piece for two months since to moment the AD expected the piece. They have no idea when it is coming and Patek seems to be a lacking in communication |

What the point of these so called allocations. Do you know how many times I’ve heard we are waiting on 2019s allocations still etc (in 2021). I’ve heard that same statement about: patek, als, omega, vc

Yeah. March or April is when they meet with regional head of distribution. They get the talk about the new models and what they’re approximately getting for the year based on requests and how they’re doing. They still get some surprises pieces too.

The AD I reached out to to start a relationship with stated the owner meets with PP to receive their allocation list for 2022 in February.
Not sure how this all works as I'm new to them and haven't purchased any pieces yet. But I'm hoping to schedule a meeting with the manager before then to express my interest in certain pieces before his meeting so I'm fresh in his mind. Really hoping to start my Patek collection this year. |
