That Omega Ultralight continues to be bizzare, the materials of the movement and the interesting crown are cool and all, but ut only weighs 8g less than my Titanium Zenith Shadow, which is available at almost a tenth of the price.

Seems like this one is really polarising - I am personally a big fan of the complete package.

The dial works for me as does the use of titanium and the finish of the movement.

Makes a change from the Nautilus or Royal Oak as an everyday high end sports watch

It does seem like the first series of 28 is fully sold

Interesting but don’t love it.

Biggest quibble are the hands, a bit too similar in size.

Gotta say I am coming around to this model. Romain’s explanation made all the difference on this obscure vid.

I want one now. : ). Such a fan of his Micro Rotor.

New C by Romain Gauthier Platinum Edition, with a grey or blue dial. "C" stands for Continuum. 41mm. Yours for CHF 78,000.

I love this brand but the Continuum line does nothing for me. I just don’t see the appeal at all.

Is that because of the design / aesthetics and lack of hand finishing on the Continuum models? I do adore the Insight Micro Rotor for the completely opposite reasons stated above.

I just don’t find it particularly attractive dial side.

I don’t like the face of the watch. It just doesn’t do it for me but I still like the brand a ton.

Feels like a cash grab. Make it in platinum and double the price, forget about the fact that it "was" supposed to be a sports watch. I bet if you did a poll, 99 out of 100 folks would rather the new dial colors in a steel/ti case with the original lumed numbers/markers.

I think the original Continuum is a great watch, esp for the price. It looks way better in person where it can look flat in pics so I am a fan of this series, but this feels like an odd update.

I didn't like it at all with the Romans, then was like hmm not bad what's the price. Then proceeded to forget about it again.

Lack of hand finishing?

Same here. The Logical1 is my end-game watch personally. It's so original and gorgeous in-person but can't get too excited about these.

Only question I have with RG is the hour and minute hands look pretty similar to each other, is it better in person?

It’s a very cool color combo and I’m sure will look amazing in person. Congrats on the purchase.

Thanks! This will be my first RG, so can’t wait to see it in person. Does anyone have a continuum? How is the fit/feel? Seems nice and slim

Continuum looks way better in persona and in ti is incredibly light, very slim, and fits great. Congrats!
