Cheers,
Mr. Krabs

HEHEHE i was drooling when people started buying FB. Sorry for those who bought the stock, but did you notice the people who lost money where normal folks that didn't trade much and not the hedge, mutual funds?

I shorted the hell out of it! Why? it was over hyped, over priced, over bought. People traded with emotion and not with a clear understanding on how FB gets revenue and how much more it could grow. It was just an easy sell, since everybody in the U.S knows about facebook and has a facebook and was easy for everybody that doesn't follow the market to believe it was going to be a big hit.

My mom wanted me to invest her money on FB and it took me awhile to convince her not to invest in FB and she still thought i didn't know what i was doing. So i ended up investing her money in FB but what she didn't know is i shorted the stock with her money. Basically i did invest in FB but just not how she wanted.

3 Basic questions you should have asked yourself if you invested in FB or if you intended to invest in FB:

1. How many of you actually click on the advertising that appears on facebook?

2. How many times "per year" have you clicked on the advertizing that's on facebook?

3. How many times have you bought or signed-up for a product that was advertized on your FB page?

Thanks don't really follow FTSE but once in awhile i follow AIM. What do you think of Lonrho plc (LON:LONR) seems like a buy and a quick flip for 1.10% tomorrow.

Never really looked at them but looking at share price mov't it could go either way in my opinion, might drop a bit more or climb up a bit today. Hope that helps

Today 9/26/2012 is what i call a buyers market. ALL sectors where down yestarday and since i only pick the ugly stocks for my fund, i got to leave the office early, hehe.

Since i left the office early, i wasn't at the meeting where we discuss what stocks are potential winners and losers for the next day. But it's fairly easy to go big in a buyers market, so here are my picks for 9/26/2012:

BUY 9/26/2012:

Charles Schwab Corp
SCHW
$12.89

Hertz Global Holdings...
HTZ
$13.77

Goldman Sachs Group...
GS
$113.50

eBay Inc
EBAY
$48.03

Apple Inc.
AAPL
$673.54

Starwood Hotels &...
HOT
$57.25

Bank of America Corp
BAC
$8.93

JPMorgan Chase & Co.
JPM
$40.55

Microsoft Corporation
MSFT
$30.39

Target Corporation
TGT
$64.38

Costco Wholesale...
COST
$101.44

Wells Fargo & Company
WFC
$34.72

LVMH Moet Hennessy...
MC
$121.75

American Express Company
AXP
$57.13

Amazon.com, Inc.
AMZN
$252.46

Yup, these are the same companies i have in my retirement portfolio and today they are bargains!

Will be back with a detailed list like the first post for 9/27/2012 unless ALL sectors stay in the red which is highly unlikely.

Thanks to all of you members who have given interest in my thread,
Mr. Krabs

If your trading costs are negligible, and 1-2% is a goal, have you explored the ex-div effect in the S&P?

We have done this in the past. we don't anymore, since we trade on margin.

We did trade RIMM and also BBY. The daily trading list consists of 50 companies and it's a hassle posting all of them. I only post the 1st page of the picks, otherwise it could take up to an hour to post all of them. Probably just going to do this 1-2 more weeks since i wake up at 3:00am and by the time i get home around 7:30-8pm i am beat, and the last thing i want to think about is work lol.
