Thinking about selling my Chronomat Evolution - would you?
I've had my Chornomat Evolution for some time now and it doesn't get as much wrist time as it used to.
I've always been very careful with it and it shows very little sign of wear. I absolutely LOVE the blue dial against the rose gold and SS backdrop. It keeps perfect time and is a real eye-catcher. My dilemma: I'm now more drawn to solid gold watches and am thinking about either acquiring a rose gold Breitling B01 w/ black roman numerals - or - a GMT Master II YG Rolex (black face). What would you guys do? My other option is to leave it in my watch winder until my son is of proper age (which I have no problem doing) - but that's over a decade away =) It's currently in the for sale section, but I'm having second thoughts. Any recommendations are welcome. |

That's a beautiful watch, especially love the blue dial.... I'd think twice before selling it, my guess is it will be a choice you will later regret.

Thanks for the comment. I have fond memories of purchasing it and wearing it when I was starting out. |

I would sell it as I really like the two watches youve picked. I would and am planning to buy the GMT YG and I think if youre gonna spend that much money on precious metal then it has to be Rolex or AP for me. I would still try to get the B01 in ss with roman numerals tho, that was probably my fav watch at that price point.

I would think twice Neil, as sadly for what they are worth nowadays you'd be better off keeping it, as I have a crosswind special, and its worth more to me sat in its Winder than selling or chopping it in against another grail piece, although mine doesn't get too much wrist time... I do enjoy it when it does.... Your Evo is a handsome watch for the money!

Its not really worth anything on the pre-owned market so keep it and enjoy it!!!!
