Welcome aboard 2canChew.

It is an alluring piece you have. It is something many of us will be dreaming to own. The candle-stick hands and the evenly spread patina on the aged dial make your watch, one of a kind.

That's what makes these beautiful watches so special, they last more than a lifetime and then you pass them on to your children.
I look forward to passing mine down to my kids, scratches and all, so they can add their own history to them...

Surely this is a watch, to be passed from one generation to another. Most of the watches in this superb condition are in the hands of enthusiasts and collectors and seldom seen on the market.

What are lucky man you are. Your late father must be happy with the way, you are now taking good care of his watch.

It's always great to hear these heirloom stories. I can only hope that I have kids some day so that I can pass down my watches to.
