tan cattle hide

111 on the OEM Tan Calf ......

Hmmmmmm,... not bad,.... but as exciting as gran'ma's underwear, complete with the smell of mothey balls .............

Not THAT bad. but a bit bland. The perfect "I dont want to draw any attention to my huge shiney polished watch on my arm,but still want it to look better than my fellow forum member's Rollie " type of strap.

Buckle is nice, although could have been a bit thicker and meatier.

Have it on the 111 for the day to see if I can live with it ............

......................

.......

..

OK,thats it !! Give me a rope and let me find a tree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some pics !! ( Love the way the dial detail almost disappear from an angle on the 111,with just the wording visible and the arabics and hour markers almost non-visible,then as its tuned more flat all the magic from the recessed dial appears again.Very nice !! )

I hear you on the OEM straps. Not bad, until you have had some of the others out there.

Have you seen the OEM's on the 232 or 249. Waste of cow hide IMO

Yes,have seen the 232 and 249 straps.Just as boring as the 111's strap !!

OEM Calfs are uninspiring, but the OEM gators are pretty nice !! For the Radiomirs, the OEM gators are my favourites !!

True on the gators. THe only two OEMS I am wearing are the two Radiomirs I wear. My 190 & 98.
I have not been wearing my 232 or 249 as much. The dang crown extends a bit too far onto the back of my hand & rubs the skin raw.

Might move those two for something else

I hear ya on the "not so exciting" aspect Chris. I prefer the OEM MX if I feel like going stealth.

Agree,OEM MX straps are much nicer .... 24/24 and with that very nice sewn-in Panerai buckle.

OEM straps does the job i guess but it's the after-market straps that make your PAMs shine!

Hmmmm, day three now and I still have the boring OEM tan calf on the 111 .... and actually am beginning to like the look !! ....

Is it old age creeping up on me ? Should I now increase my pension fund ? Where's a mirror, perhaps my hair is falling out ? Is it time for Botox ? Is it a midlife crisis ? Should I now buy a Harley ? ..ditch the wife for a cheap blond DD 18 year old .... to ride wih on the harley, cut denim shorts, cellulite an' all ??

Checked the timing over three days now and it still 10s ahead, still the same as three days ago.Thats great !! ....
1) I was lucky got one out of the box that runs 100%
2) The Panerai modified Unitas movement is capable of great accuracy.

OK,now where is that Harley pics again .........................
