Crocodiles live in the water, waterresistance of croc strap?

Hi guys.

I have a 176 otw... It comes with an OEM brown croc strap. Just curious - how water resistant is it? Not like im going to spearfish with it or go noodling (thats popular in this neck of the woods.... ), but if it rains or i wash my hands and it gets wet or my wrists get sweaty, will it stain badly? After all, crocodiles spend most of their lives in muddy swamp water, the watch is rated to 300 m...

Live crocodiles are water resistant, dead ones (straps), not so much.
