I was surprised too to be honest. I have no purchase history with Omega, and have never set foot in their boutique as it’s clear across the country.

I simply filled out their online inquiry form with the reference I was interested in. I got a standard reply saying a sales associate would follow up and a few days later one called.

We had a nice chat on the phone about watches in general, my collection and why I was specifically interested in the 321. 7 months later … BOOM

Very nice. I have 3 boutiques within driving distance (LA area).. all three said it’s impossible to get without an extensive purchase history.

Thinking of going gray at this point. Since it’s really the only omega I want.

It may be worth it of you get too tired of waiting. The premium isn't too excessive compared to the Daytona.

FWIW, IMHO they aren't in the same league either, making the 321 all that more attractive

I gave up and went grey. Only time I’ve ever paid over retail for a watch but I really really wanted one. Honestly I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Sold my Daytona and all other Speedmasters. 321 slaughters them all
