Worst five minutes of my life

No but in all seriousness, is there a post or background story on what caused the 5 minute timeout to warn about not clicking links in PMs or emails?

Can the website owners just enforce a 2 factor authentication process when logging on?

No, we can’t make anyone enable it.

When you get scammed for $20K because someone mindlessly gave away their log-in to a scammer and seduced you with an attractive deal, then you might appreciate the message a little more.......

Will it show up for everyone for 5 minutes whenever they happen to come back? Or was it a global thing at that one particular time? I don't mind the message, I just think there should be more persistent details surrounding the situation to give people more context for why they should care.
