What is the accuracy of your calibre 315 ?

What is the accuracy of your 315 SC calibre?
I really like the Aquanaut 5065, but I have doubts about its accuracy and reliability.
Thanks.

The 315 is a solid workhorse movement and no reason for not getting a watch whereas its predecessor 310 didn't have a great reputation. In my case a new 324 movement was off much more (6-8 sec per day depending on position at night) than my 315 from 1999. All the 324 needed was regulation of course.

one of the things about patek IMHO is that they don't compromise on quality. wether that is quality of finishing or quality of accuracy.
if accuracy is on your top priorities then perhaps you might consider a watch with METAS certificate?

It's fine. I have the similar 330 in my 5066a. Not the most accurate, but not a slouch either. No hacking seconds, so you won't be obsessing about to-the-instant timekeeping, but it's respectable enough and very reliable.

But the movement remains within COSC parameters?

I haven't worn it daily for quite a while but I would remember if it had been off by more than 3 or 4 sec a day.

Mine seems pretty accurate, but haven't measured closely. As for reliability, I've found that all has to do with who worked on it last. In the fifteen years I've owned my 5065, it's had to be overhauled twice when it stopped working. The first time was after about three years. Had it serviced by Patek. Then it died again about three years after that. Had it serviced by an independent watchmaker (who worked at an AD and had been doing this for decades). Been reliably ticking the past nine years.
