Patek 5227R

Is there any difference between a 5227R Caltrava made in 2013 and one made today? I found a pretty good deal on an early 5227R but if there is some updates on the newer model that the earlier ones don't have-I might change my mind.

1) Baselworld 2013, Patel Philippe 5227 announcement and specs: https://watchesbysjx.com/2013/04/bas...tyle-case.html

2) Patek Philippe 5227R ("current") from their website: https://www.patek.com/en/collection/calatrava/5227R-001

Not an expert, but both are a) 39mm in case diameter, b) have the new "officer" dust cover, c) automatic (self winding), d) 324 SC caliber mvmt, e) ~45 hour power reserve, f) 29 jewels.

Go for the 2013 deal!

BTW, how much and which color gold?

Early models have the model and serial engraved on officer caseback which is cool for watch nerds. Not sure when they stopped doing it

You can purchase a deployant clasp. I almost did, but I prefer the buckle.

I know that, I would never ever change any detail on design of any watch , everything has to be as the manufacturer intended, is my personal rule. Hence my point, it would of been nice that patek original design included the Calatrava deployant. But I get it , they are trying to give the watch a modern look.
