Well miscrostrategy and square bought more at 52k and 51k respectively.

I did some more at 45.6 and 49.

I grabbed some more yesterday on the further dip. I'm feeling pretty good about next week.

Lately (last couple months) my Cardano (ADA) has acted as Hedge against the rest of the market... it's been wonderful.

After Bitcoin finishes its 1 yr up cycle per every 4th year this Oct, it may be higher for sure. But my question is after Oct, and over the following 12 months how low will it go? Back to 40k? 20k?

It’s just impossible to say. I guess it’ll depend on how high it goes, but I’m cautiously optimistic that much of the recent increase has been due to institutional, and not retail demand. See Coinbase’s disclosures. That would be a first for the Bitcoin market and we’d be in untested waters.

there's no point even attempting to predict how low it could go after this bull run. the past cycles can't be looked into too much when there are institutions buying the dips at 50k. 2017 was pretty much entirely due to retailers fomoing and 4 years before that no one even knew about bitcoin and it had no adoption, it was also ridiculously hard to buy. besides that we've never had the fed injecting money like they are now so this cycle is really a one off at this point

Have you looked in detail at the 4yr cycle charts? This cycle is currently behaving the exact same. Maybe it’ll disconnect from history because of institutions, maybe not.

I've been curious myself about how institutional investment will impact this, as well as what the scene might be like a year from now if we see major companies beginning to accept Bitcoin as payment for goods and services.

yeah i know about it but i don't believe that it's gonna drop 80% this time like all the other times or that it should be read into too much with how different everything is this past year. and i know people were saying "it was different" in 2017 but it really wasn't. there was minimal mainstream adoption and just a lot of fomo, it was never stable as it just went parabolic for 3-4 months with no pullbacks, and wall street was still calling it a scam, but in the end no one can really predict anything when it comes to this so it's just my personal opinion

Exactly. In 2011 I wanted to invest in either silver or Bitcoin. The idea of mailing a $10,000 cashiers check to an address in New York was a little intimidating. Of course had I gone through with it I'd be sipping a mimosa on a yacht in Miami.

The silver did pretty good at first at least.

yeah exactly, you had to go through hoops just to buy it on some super shady exchange. but on the bright side you probably wouldve sold it long ago for decent (at the time) gains

This.

Combine that with the current ease of purchasing/being exposed to Bitcoin, whether through a broker, an ETF, or PayPal, and I think we can confidently say it is probably different this time.

At the same time, I am not suggesting we won't see a large pullback. However, if we do see one, I don't think we will sit for 3 years before a recovery to new highs happens.

If it had to be one of those two, the watch. At least when the bubble bursts I'll have a way to tell time. If I could pick anything though, an S&P 500 index fund. I can deal with losses there, and if the S&P really tanks, investment returns will be the least of my problems.

Platona just a watch. I’ll happily take the BTC and settle for a 116500

I hear you. But I'm no Bitcoin bear. Quite the opposite. Bitcoin is my largest crypto holding (followed by ETH) and I DCA into both frequently. If Elon wants to joke around and drive up Doge though, I'd rather be on the train than in front of it.
