OP - if you want the Sub but will settle for the Tudor due to price, ask yourself if you’ll ever be satisfied? The community here might make you appreciate your Tudor for some time, but in long run if you want a Sub, save and get it, or you may regret the waste of time and money spent on anything but...

If you can't afford a SubC get the Tudor they are awesome and ETA movements are great why wait you will love it!

I would have no problem buying a Tudor as those a great and nice looking watches

However, if you want a Submariner (I mean Rolex), don't compromise for a few $K and save up if you can - once the Tudor is on your wrist, you will think about the Rolex

So would suggest to save up, buy the Rolex, and in a bit if you want to buy a second watch buy the great Tudor

Love both brands but I’d go for the Rolex Sub for the end game among the 2 choices.

I have both vintage Tudor 79090 and an ETA Black Bay. They both get more time than my trusty Datejusts do.
