Will AD fix minor things unrelated to movement?

Hey guys, just got my 114060 a few weeks back and have taken it free diving and diving twice already! Love the watch so much and it's a beauty, however in one free dive I banged the bezel badly on a rock.

The force "flattened" out one of the teeth on the bezel a bit (no longer uniform with the other teeth) and it's now catching on my shirts when my sleeve as the watch gets uncovered/covered.

Is a simple authentic Rolex bezel change something an AD can do or will I need to send it to RSC to get the bezel replaced? The ceramic insert is fine, just the toothed bezel is damage.

A bezel is an exchange piece, it would probably be better to send the whole watch to rsc since it’s under warranty anyways. Sometimes they give you a price break on stuff when it’s under warranty. Otherwise a watchmaker at an AD might be able to polish it enough so that it’s not annoying

Just keep diving, Jack... one tooth of many is nothing and is all part of the story... nothing simple about a bezel change, money wise

Agreed, I'm all for a nice story on every imperfection on the watch, but how it's catching my shirt cuffs is getting a bit annoying. I'm going to be wearing this guy every day so it's bound to get beat up, just don't want those little imperfections to lead to an annoyance which will tempt me to stop giving it all the wrist time :)

If it's catching, it is likely a raised burr on the metal. Sending it to an RSC for an expensive replacement doesn't seem to make much sense.

I expect that that burr can be knocked down with a jewelers file (and even a jeweler to use it if you are not skilled)

Yeah, it basically flattened the tooth so the metal is shoved up and down. Imagine smashing a pencil's eraser down on a desk or if you have watched any of those hydraulic press smashing videos on youtube ;)
