First haircut in 3 full months

I can't tell you how good it feels to enjoy the simple pleasure of a haircut after 3 full months. Ahh.

Been a rough week here, but this felt as good as a fine dinner out.

Not a thread of deep thought, just relief. Hope all are doing well.

My teen daughter may have a 2nd calling, as she has groomed the dog as well as cut hair for both us parents. Btw... have you noticed Wixon’s is open again? Fellow Mpls. resident here. Stay well!

This makes it seem like the barbers are amongst the essential workers.

I’m scheduled for tomorrow. I’ve never been excited for a haircut in my life until now. My area began allowing it June 2nd.

I bought a set of clippers, cutting my own hair. One more cut and they have earned their keep. I do like the feel of a fresh cut, and find I do it more often now.

Nice. My hair is crazy and my daughter has been trying to cut it. We are 3-4 weeks away from barber shops opening up.

I finally broke down and had me wife cut my hair 3 wks ago with my beard trimmer. She did a fine job too considering she used to whack my son's hair when he was 5....

As a hairdresser by trade and now an educator with 2 schools, it’s so refreshing to hear that our industry is being missed. Here in the uk we’re expected to return on July 4th. We can’t wait!!

I needed a haircut bad. Last one was end of February. Me and my son got backdoor haircuts three weeks ago. Local barbershop owner, the guy is doing cuts out of his back porch. Felt like the alcohol prohibition days

The Philly area and surrounding counties are supposed to move from red to yellow zone tomorrow. Barbershops and salons are allowed to open under limited capacity in the green zone, so we are probably 3-4 week away. I may have to squeeze another one of these backdoor cuts in.

Congratulations, you achieved a huge milestone. My last haircut was on March 14th. Barber shops are still on lockdown here in NYC.

Was the barber shop crowded?

I’m into my 13th week since my last haircut - usually every 4 weeks

It went kind on spikey at the sides around weeks 5/6 but now through it
In no hurry now to get it cut now & kind of like it longer now
Probably a light trim once the stampede dies down when the hairdressers open but I’ll not be going back to 4 weekly haircuts that’s for sure

I got mine cut a little over a week ago after about 12 weeks. Short and will not look back. I have been watching the videos on YouTube on doing it yourself. Not there yet but do like the concept and not having to depend on anyone else. We will see.

My beautiful wife cut my Barnet two days ago.
Passed my neighbour in the lane, he said;"I see Olivia's found the hedge trimmer".
You can go off people, can't you.

My wife is a hairdresser and when contacting clients that she was opening back up, to a person they said, "this is the call I've been waiting for!!"

To make this work for both her and her clients, my wife leased a new space that's completely isolated from the other hairdressers & their clients. It consists of 2 chairs & 2 sinks that allow each client to enjoy a clean environment. While expenses have doubled, her clients have been thrilled and have shown their appreciation.

In a show of solidarity, I didn't get my hair cut till she went back to work.

The hell with all of you and your trivial complaints!!!!!

I lost my hair in my thirties and would grow it to my waist if it miraculously reappeared!!!

I walk to mine and he cut me pert-near on schedule all during this flu.

Oh wait, maybe it's because I pay cash and usually pay for a month (4 weeks) in advance?

HE was hurting.

We all (mostly all, some, a few, not many, very many) do NOT have 6 month income at hand.

It was MY PLEASURE to give him my money : )))

My barber was back on May 18th. I got my cut on the 24th, at which point she told me she was done. She didn't feel like she was able to perform the cuts people expected with the various restrictions she was required to adhere to. I'm bummed. At 38, I've had 5 people cut my hair. She's been my barber for 8yrs.
