Bought a New Merecedes and Made a ROLEX buddy!! PICS

So the wife and I went and traded cars today. We bought a 2011 SL 550. While finalizing paperwork, I noticed an acrylic crystal sub poking out from the guys cuff. I made a comment about his watch, I was wearing my 18K sub, and turns out he is a WIS as well. We chatted about Rolex for a bit and I brought up TRF. He says, " yea I know about TRF, thats where I found this 1680". I asked who and when and it turns out he bought Nicko's watch. You know Steve from Spain.

So I said, "well you remember the Explorer II giveaway 2 weeks ago" he says yes, an I tell him, "Well I'm the lucky SOB who won it." He calls over another sales guy who frequents TRF and tells him and he freaks out as well.

What a small world!!!!

-Eddie

Oh yea, a few new car pics.

Do you think Nicko / Steve will try to buy the watch back?

If I would have seen it before we had a deal I would have made him throw it in on the deal. The car cost enough he should have given it to me.

Awesome car! My mother has a '10 E350. I'm a huge MB fan. I love driving her car, it feels so much bigger than my 3 series.
