Incoming- Submariner 114060

Good morning all,

Been lurking for some time but decided to post my excitement on becoming the proud owner of a Rolex piece I’ve always wanted since I was a little girl. Some back story- I grew up admiring my dad’s many watches but one in particular always stood out to me- the Submariner. He had a two tone “bluesy” as we call it. I always found myself trying it on. I feel absolutely blessed, especially in these times, to be able to afford this dream for myself. I look forward to learning more about the Rolex history and heritage among great company here. God bless you and your families, stay safe!

-Vanessa

Nice classic choice. Looks great. I have the same watch and will pass it to either my son or daughter, if they want it. I have two other watches I never wear since getting my 114060 two years ago.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Totally feeling the love right now. I collectively agree with the comments on here. It's such a versatile watch- take it to the beach, night out, dressy occasion, etc. Being a Miami gal, I can't wait to take it to the beach for a proper breaking in. Prior to the Submariner, I own a Tag Aquaracer but the Submariner blows it out of the water. You can feel the difference in quality and craftsmanship. Yep, I'm Rolex obsessed for sure, haha.

Girl power! Honestly, I'm happy to see guys are cool with women rocking Rolex's, particularly the Submariner. My wrists are 6.5 so I've never really enjoyed watches under 32 mm. I'm impressed that despite the Submariner being 40mm, it fits me really well and doesn't feel ridiculous. Look forward to chatting it up here with you all.
