BLUESY 126613 lb vs DAY DATE 118238 for the same price

If I can get 118238 on grey market for the same price of 126613 LB what do you think I should get if

1. I wear classic style ( jacket, blazer, suit, trouser...) alot

2. I need something attractive, not boring

3. I Want it to be recognized as Rolex

4. I Want something suit able for Daily wear

5. I Want something that hold value and can be pass down to next generation !

Many thanks

Either will fit most of the criteria you’ve set out IMHO.

The LB certainly screams Rolex

Both are excellent choices. The 5-digit Bluesy was the first watch I loved & got me hooked on the brand. Between these two, though, I'd take the DD if all else were equal. I think it'll hold value better, it's a bit rarer, the President bracelet is more comfortable & if you don't like it, you can always find a Bluesy for sale. I imagine it'll be harder to make the switch in the other direction.

If the DD has the new buckle 2003 and up) then this imo

Have said this though, the LB is a 41 where the DD is a 36 so, hard to advise

Personally…I’d go DD if I liked the 36mm size, but I like a bit bigger watch, so I’d get the Sub for myself.
If you like the 36mm size for yourself, I think that the DD is a lot of watch for the money.
For meeting your criteria, both work IMO.

Agree! That's why it's strange you can get one for the same price of a bluesy...

Could you share pictures of the 118238 ?

DayDate. However, in general, the Bluesy might be more recognizable, as a Rolex.

This right here says bluesy. I've always thought the DD a little on the um, sober side (don't want to offend any owners lol) and the LB more like party time.

To me this is an absolute no brainer...THE DD. Based on what you wear, I could not think of anything more appropriate...UNLESS you have Popeye sized forearms
