Decisions......Decisions......

Guys, need your help.

The dark side is calling me again!

I am interested in a sandwich dial w/ small seconds (don't know if that's the exact risti term?). So, I've decided on the following: 111, 177, or 183. I like the 177 because it takes away the 'shiny' factor (similar to a brushed ss). As you can see, the choices are all in the historic category. IF I decide to go contemporary, it would be - 88 or 312. But, I would probably lean more towards the historic's.

What would you go for??? Appreciate your thoughts!

personally, a historic model I would go with the 112 but out of the three you listed, I would take the 177 or the 111 over the 183. Out of those two I would pick the 177 because of the titanium case.

Thanks Joe.

Love this PAM. Simplicity personified...The sammy dial is very cool. Knowing you appreciate the Rolex classics, Pepsi, Daytona etc...You would love this watch.

I'm with Bill. For historic the 111 istough to beat. As to contemporary the 88 doesn't have a sandwich dial so the 312 would be a great choice.

Something a bit different with a different look, the 359 adds a bit of vintage feel.

Add the 351 to the mix. The titanium 1950 case with gold hands is hard to beat! A few are popping up on the secondary market at good prices too!

Wow...That 359 and 351 are gorgeous for very different reasons, but man oh man.

From your 3 choices, I would go for the 177 for a more casual look, while the 183 for a more dressy look. It now depends on how you want to wear your watch..

I however have the Pam 352 (the same with 351 but steel bracelet - I'm still wearing it with a strap, keeping the bracelet as an option) for my casual look, or short sleeves working shirts..

While I have my radiomir Pam 287 for a more classy and dressy look.

I did want to buy the 183, but a date feature is very important to me, and so I decided for the 287. I almost got the 183 just bécause of the sandwich dial, but I thought I already have a sandwich on my 352, so why not a painted istead. The next consideration was that because the 287 is automatic winding, it is thicker and seems to "sit" better on my wrist especially with a thicker strap on= while the 183 just seems to be "skinny" and "drowned" by the strap's thickness. I always like my watch case to sit higher than the my straps, however that is not the case "visually" on the 183.

Just my personal opinions of course..

I would say go with the 111 but if compare to 351, I would say go with the 351!
1950 case, brown dial and gold hands are tough to beat!

I've decided to go with the 177. I love it!!! The 'brushed ss' look, small second, sandwich dial, transparent caseback. Beautiful!
I'll post pics soon.
