Colts to retire Manning's No. 18, add statue to stadium
That's quite an honor, I'd say, and well deserved, too.
Colts owner Jim Irsay announced Friday that the team will retire Peyton Manning's No. 18 and build a statue of the record-setting quarterback outside Lucas Oil Stadium.

Well deserved for sure. He made a big impact in Denver and will be missed. his mind was willing, but the body was having a hard time keeping up in the end. Glad he went out on top.

Nice gesture. Favre and Starr don't have statues in Green Bay. I think he deserves it, if for nothing else than his incredible preparation for games. He learned well from his dad.
