2254.50 crown won’t lock down
I felt the crown on my seamaster starting to feel like it was grinding a bit. I wear this watch a few days a week but occasionally i won’t wear it for days and it requires a wind. On my way home yesterday i was adjusting the time and i couldn’t get the crown to lock down. I am taking it to Omega Wednesday . Is this a crown/crown tube type of an issue?
I’m fairly bummed. I enjoy wearing this watch frequently as of late. If it requires a full service, sounds like I’ll be without it for a while. Threads are better with pics! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Or in this case, pics of threads are better. What I mean is the threads inside the crown and the tube threads. One or the other may have worn or been stripped over time. Replacing a midcase tube doesn’t require a full service, nor does a new stem/crown either. Hopefully that’s all you’ll need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
