New Aqua Terra 8900 (today)

FedEx came bearing gifts this morning!!

Depending on light conditions, dial looks white to silver (in sunlight). Lume is pretty good also.

Congrats! I absolutely love that one with the splash of orange. Pretty sure that's going to be my next piece.

Which size is that? 41 or 38? Do all the white 8900 ATs have an orange second hand?

That particular dial only comes in 41. Unlike previous generation models, Omega varies the dial designs between the 41mm and 38mm sizes for most of the current generation models.

The closest corresponding model in 38mm size is monochrome black-and-grey with no orange trim anywhere. (Below I have them side-by-side, with 38mm on the left, 41mm on the right.) In my opinion, the orange coloring on the 41mm model results in a much more dynamic and attractive piece, especially with the matching rubber strap.

Thank you!

They’ve gone through a lot of variations recently. I have not kept up.

Reminds me a little of the Rolex Explorer 2 with the Orange GMT hand. Looks nice!

I like the cleaner look of the 38mm version better. If Omega had the above 38mm (white dial, gray hands with no hints of orange) combination in a 41mm size, I’d buy one yesterday!

They have that dial in 41mm, but it is only available in the Sedna gold version.

I agree with you on the effect of the orange accents on the 41mm. But for my wrists, it’s got to be the 38mm. The black markers pop some.
