There are two choices, reserve or regular. And the reserve is $1 more. Maybe I looked broke.

The question reminds me of my days in college, when I delivered pizzas for Domino's at night. I'd start my shift with a cooler filled with nothing but ice, and every time I delivered to a place where people were drinking (which was often) I'd bring the pizza in, and ask, "Hey, is that beer you're drinking?". Inevitably, someone would offer me one, and I'd tell them I couldn't drink it right then, but that I'd take it for after work. That would often get me another.

By the end of the shift, the cooler was always full.

Not a stupid question, but this instantly reminded me of a story about Jason McAteer. He was a reasonably well known footballer who played for Liverpool in the ‘90’s. His nickname was Trigger, which to those that don’t need an explanation is a clue to the low wattage he possessed upstairs (for everybody else, the explanation is too long, go watch a rerun of Only Fools and Horses).

So Trigger went out with some of his team-mates to a pizza restaurant and he placed his order. After a short while his pizza arrives and the waiter asks him, “sir would you like me to cut it into four pieces or eight?” Trigger ponders this for a moment and replies “I’ll have it in four please mate, there’s no way I could eat eight”

A good friend of mine was telling me how much his son loved Legos then lost interest. Then he went on to say he totally overdosed on them. I stupidly replied asking how many he ate!

I don’t think the Barista asked a stupid question in this case. You are not Starbucks first person to order black coffee and some like to actually doctor up their own cup...but I digress.
