GMTII C Date Change

Tonight, after midnight when my GMTII C date will read 31, do I just pull out the crown to position 3, turn clockwise and the date will go to 1 without the minute, hour or 24 hour hands hands turning?

Thanks,
Ken

Within 1 day, I always use the 3rd position. For more than one day, I use the jump hand hour feature in the 2nd position until I get within 24 hours.

The IIC doesn't have a quickset date.

If you pull the crown out to the position that moves the hour hand only, you can advance the hour hand through 24 hours and the date will change to 1.

That's how I'm planning to do it anyway. Happy to hear better suggestions if anyone's got one.

To change the date on a GMT, you jump the hour hand around 24 hrs...

There is no other way.......... unless you wanted to pull it all the way out and take the 24 hr hand around the dial too........but that defeats the purpose of keeping the watch on it's same time........

The position you are referring to is the 3rd position.

Go to position 2 and advance the hour hand 24 hours.

Position 2, where only the hour hand moves.

Thanks,
Ken
