Newbie winding and runtime question

I just bought a mint used datejust from a reputable rolex seller. I am wondering how long should the watch run when one wind it 20 times? Without wearing it I get about 18 hours does that sound right? I have heard a fully wound watch should run for 36 hour. The model of the datejust is 16233.

It will if you wind it 40 turns = a full wind.

All the Rolex movements with the cal 3135 need 40 full crown turns clockwise to fully wind then should run 39-48 hours while off wrist. Now watches like the Daytona they need 60 full turns then they should run for around 70 hours.

Sounds about right..

That's only a half wind, so that is about half what it would run with a full wind..

With automatics, even though it selfs wind, it may not fully wind when it is worn while working desk diving jobs / office jobs.

I guess it is a good idea to give it a full wind once a week.
