Rolex Ss Daytona - how much is worth?

Hello everyone,

I have a big issue and i would like to ask some opinions.
I have a Stainless Steel Rolex daytona, made in 1998, zenith movement, white dial, full serviced recent and i would like to sell it but i don`t know how much is worth it now. Personaly i didn`t payd for it, i receive it like a gift.
I was thinking to sell it for about 8500 $, is this a good price for such a piece ?
Please let me know your opinions.
Thank you,
Regards

Only 5000 $ ? .. I took a look over ebay and some sellers but i found prices too big, but 5000 $ is also a quite small amount.
Is a T series, in great conditions, 97 %.
Only 5000 $ i could get for it ?

its probably actually worth around 9K/10K i wouldnt setttle for anything less than 8.5K and that too only if u need the cash , if/when the economy recovers and the normal premiums come back on the post-zenith daytona models it will be worth i am GUESSING, around 13-16K all USD

I see those on ebay from a reputable sellers at $7500-$8000.
The OP says he did not buy it, and its 11 years old.
The only way it would sell for that much in my opinion if there are no scratches on the crystal, no dings, papers present, and service was done by RSC.

You can advertise for $9K or more, and nobody will ever take a look.
Especially if here in the classified the new ones are $9k

drtooth73 i have all the papaers, boxex, and also the service papers, it was serviced by rolex US last year.
I will try my luck at 8000 $ see where it gets, but with this crisis i think if i will get around 7000 $ on it i will be happy.
Thank you very much.

This thread is looking rather too much like an offer to sell.

Don't be surprised if it disappears.

Anyway, I'd give you $8500 all day long for a 16520 with recent papers and in good order but you'd have to send it to me first.

Anyone thinking to get the bargain of the century don't get so intoxicated that your better judgement takes a back seat.
